Christopher Martin | Manager
Christopher Martin (Chris) has spent his career as a leader in the senior debt lending industry, with a background in portfolio management, underwriting, and legal negotiations. He has organized due diligence processes, field examinations, and internal credit approvals for over $3 billion in senior and junior debt transactions. In addition, he has significant experience structuring debt transactions, analyzing covenant packages, and dissecting financial and cash flow models.
Chris joins Winter Harbor from Steel City Capital Funding, a division of PNC Bank. As an account executive with Steel City, Chris was responsible for a portfolio of second lien loans to private equity-backed companies. Prior Steel City, Chris served as Vice President of Originations at Gibraltar Business Capital, an asset-based lender. He has also previously held positions within business development and underwriting during his 10-year tenure with PNC Bank.
Chris received his Masters of Business Administration from Duke University and his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. He is an active participant in the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. Chris holds his Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of California San Diego.
Outside the office, Chris enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and sampling new foods. He is a sports enthusiast, dedicated to cheering on athletic teams from his alma mater, Florida State University.
